HOWEVER — this spring honey is D E L I C I O U S. It is light, and has an almost fruity aftertaste. Maybe floral? But it tasted fruity to me. The price is jaw dropping for the quality of this honey. We were in town for parent's weekend at R.I.T. and were looking for something different to do outdoors. I called Brighton Honey to inquire about a visit to the apiary... read more and buying honey. The beekeeper, Ward, was welcoming and accommodating to my request. He gave us a personal tour in his backyard of the apiary and relayed many interesting facts to us about bees! This is not a structured facility and a walking tour. It is a family that welcomes you into their home and onto their property to share with you a piece of their lives. We were able to purchase honey, and it is delicious! I highly recommend a pit stop to Brighton Honey to check out the apiary and to buy some honey. Thank you Ward and family!
