The flavor of the honey is complex, It's not just sweet, you can taste fruit, flowers, and other vegetation as a discrete under tone flavour. The beekeeper, Ward, was welcoming and accommodating to my request. He gave us a personal tour in his backyard of the apiary and relayed many interesting facts to us about bees! This is not a structured facility and a walking tour. It is a family that welcomes you into their home and onto their property to share with you a piece of their lives.
