The beekeeper, Ward, was welcoming and accommodating to my request. He gave us a personal tour in his backyard of the apiary and relayed many interesting facts to us about bees! This is not a structured facility and a walking tour. It is a family that welcomes you into their home and onto their property to share with you a piece of their lives. The snow covered hives are beautiful. The birds abound at the feeders. A small piece of solitude where the cats peacefully sleep.
